Doesn’t it drive you crazy when you are hiking somewhere new and have to stop. I can not stand that feeling of not knowing what may have been right around the next bend. Maybe if I would have just gone a little further there would have been some natural wonder that I missed. I am sure I can’t be the only person who feels this way. It drives me crazy any time I can not go through the entire trail or area.
It took us a very long time to see some of our favorite spots because we didn’t go just a little bit further. McConnells Mill is a great example because we love hiking to one of the water falls there. The thing is there were many trips where we had stopped just a little bit short and never made it to the falls. Once we finally made it to the falls that now became our regular spot that we go to every single time we visit there. It is probably one of the best spots there and I cant believe it took us so long to find it.
Most often I remember there is no possible way I can see every possible inch when out exploring, but it still leaves me curious. This makes me wonder how many of you may be experiencing the same thing. How many times have you wanted to keep pushing on further so that you would not miss whats around the next bend. Maybe you have stopped short and missed something you would have seen had you gone just a little further.
